But surely even Dean would admit that some form of rights 
amplification is needed, no? If you think about it, all the issues we 
see with EQ also arise with rights amplification operations. They all 
basically take two capabilities and return a third capability. If the 
two input capabilities aren't correct (in the sense of EQ), the 
operation must fail, and vice versa.
