Note that I found the above rfc in context very clearly at:
http://www.pki-page.org/

That's the best one-stop organization of all the relevant standards documents
and links related to pki as actually deployed right now I found on google.
Makes it MUCH easier to fish out the docs that matter when thrashing over
design points on something like Tyler's Petname Toolbar.  BTW bravo for
'putting code where your mouth is' in the best open source tradition, tyler!
