Before the 40th anniversary of the PDP-1 Supervisor arrives next year 
perhaps we should endeavour to implement POLA Solitaire (in E, Emily, BitC) 
as an exemplar of the way secure software should be constructed for the next 
40 years? :-)

Given Solitaire's ubiquity a POLA version might do more for securing MS 
Windows than all the Patch Tuesday's combined.
