VPNs work, as complicated as they are, when someone is in charge, as is
the case within a company. Dealing with the identities and access modes
and protocol versions and ... becomes increasingly hard as more
independent parties are added to the system. Far better and far simpler
is using unguessable addresses as with web-calculus.
