Thanks Alan for the mention, it's been about a year since then.  We've
had a enterprise version for awhile, and are about to release a consumer
version.

Kinda like a capability system for Internet Explorer and the files it
downloads.  Or the files and (most) programs you already have.

Same name, different concept.  Actually, thanks for the pointer.  This
is the first I've seen that uses "Polaris" for something related to
computers.  I did a cursory trademark search, and most of the references
were for sunglasses and specialty windows.  The closest I've seen to our
Polaris is from http://www.greenborder.com.
