 I don't intend to rely on solving the unum problem, but I do want to learn about it so I can know whether or not we're facing the same issues.  Unum is unfortunately a word with many different searchable meanings, and citeseer and google scholar still aren't pointing me to papers on the topic.
 
 Also, do you E guys plan on getting together sometime?  I'd love to hear more about E philosophy and other interesting issues in person.  The thesis was a great read, but it's always fun to talk to the people behind the scenes too.
