I appreciate the effort you have made to discover what I
said

Had I realized you were genuinely interested, I would
have quoted the relevant exerpts, but I had already been
doing a fair bit of quoting myself, and had come to suspect
that if saying something once did not work, saying it twice
was unlikely to improve things.
