Not so. The terminological habits that Shap has adopted (with the
substitution of facet id for data byte) from the last 37 years of OS
literature on capability systems, notably including Hydra, CAP, the
papers on the Chicago Magic Number machine, KeyKOS, and others.

Sorry, Mark. You aren't going to pin this on me exclusively. The
difference of opinion and terms is very real, and it reflects two very
well established communities.
