I agree, as composite would tend to denote some consistency between the
elements. The best example is composite materials. You put in a bag some
sand, some feathers, a bit of honey and pieces of plastic, you don't
obtain a composite. But if you mix glue and little stones, on the
contrary, you have a composite.
So indeed naming the set of objects on which Alice has no authority or
an arbitrary set of objects from Bob's objects is misleading.
Calling them an object for the sake of an analysis doesn't sound
problematic, although a better term could be good.
