Hmm. Let's see if I can shed some light on that.

Trent Jaeger and I have spent a lot of time over the years discussing
capability systems.

Angelos Keromytis and I did our Ph.D.'s together, so we know each
other's work.

Patrick McDaniel and I have talked a little about capability systems,
but he knows the line of work well because he is very well read.

Fabian Monrose is faculty here at Hopkins, he knows about this stuff
from a variety of sources.

Neils Provos is also someone I've talked to a lot about this stuff.

Leendert van Doorn is a friend, a colleague from IBM, and oh his thesis
is on capability systems.

Matt Blaze certainly knows about this stuff from many sources. I'm one
of them, but he also knows about them from earlier sources.

I have no context to provide for Reiner Sailer, Helen Wang, or Steve
Zdancewic.
