Is this really a hot topic? It was one decades ago, but seems so ice- 
cold to me at the moment that it would require a small thermonuclear  
blast to return to its former glory. Despite the research having  
continued since day one, I'm under the impression that capability  
systems are not really any closer to making significant inroads in  
the mainstream than they were back in the day. It may well be that  
mainstream acceptance should not be used as any kind of yardstick,  
however.
