Except that in this case we're not talking about the OS
(whose functionality is supported by the Wine/WebCVOS
library) but rather about the applications. Microsoft
would be required to reload/target applications like
their office suite for the Wine/WebCVOS environment,
much like they do now for Macs. They would of course
resist, so it would depend on how the market went. I'd
love to see competition between something like
StarOffice as a Web downloaded application in a
safe environment like WebCVOS vs. Microsoft's
applications on Window-whatever.

That would give me even more reason to get off
of Windows. By doing so I could be assured that
applications were constrained in a POLA environment.
