[cap-talk] Any papers on use of generics and cast operators for de/re-composition purposes?

I've had some practical experience with using templates and cast operators
in C++ to accomplish some simple decomposition/recomposition patterns
for POLP purposes.

However, other than some small sniplets of code code using these
concepts practically, I have been unable to find any POLP/POLA related
papers discussing the theoretical background about the usage of generics
and/or cast operators for these purposes.

Does anyone of you have knowledge of publications that address these
techniques and patterns ?
