Are there any on the list? I find usability an extremely difficult to
discus subject. Especially given the confusion between familiarity and
usability from what most people (including myself) seem to suffer.
I only started to understand the existence of the difference and overlap
when I noticed a friend of my having severe problems moving from Linux to
Windows and using double click for the first time. I'm still confused if
widespread familiarity makes double click usable, or if double click is
just familiar and actually not usable itself.

If there is anyone on the list who actually grasps the difference and/or
overlap that could join the conversation that would be great.

When shifting access control from out of band ACL's to in band actions of
designation, do we need to compare usability with or without regard to
familiarity?

With respect to 'undo', would you think 'revoke' would do instead?
