[cap-talk] how to advertise caps?

A couple of weeks ago was "National e-Security Awareness" week here in Australia.  I wrote an entry to a forum site which has made this the topic of the month: http://www.openforum.com.au/content/automatic-virus-safe-computing-applying-pola-and-object-capabilities .  
Note the difference in rating between my low score and the score for the article from the Australian Mircosoft representative : http://www.openforum.com.au/content/shift-thinking.  My article is very poor and fails.

Since I'm only an amateur at writing and only a hobbyist with computers, I'm wondering how to improve such an article?

Could someone here perhaps write a reference article that people like me who want to advertise caps could basically copy to discussion forums like these?
