You could at least be consistent with you own claims. You are just
advocating giving the IDE a very broad and persistent authority.
At any rate, the fact remain that if I want to find my workspace back
after a restart, I need persistent capabilities. Wether I use sub-shells
that manage those capabilities (like the IDE you mention) is orthogonal.
