Yes but one more reliable than local area network. (On-Chip-Network?)
As it doesnt partion easily.
Option c) would then also be viable implementation on something like
Intellasys SeaForth chips*. Or an hybrid of both options a) and c).

Thoughts? Comments? Need for clarification?
