I believe Chrome is based on WebKit, which is different than the
Firefox code base AFAIK. WebKit is sort of a KDE + Apple thing in
terms of the core contributors vs. Firefox is Mozilla. I'm sure there
is plenty of cross-pollination of ideas and such, but probably not
really so much of code.
