Why does it surprise you that nobody would run into it? If you
are referring to the above, it would only happen if you try to give
two different sites the same Petname. I don't think anybody
would try to do that intentionally - would they? Still, it
seems a nice feature to bring such an error to the user's
attention.
I admit that the nuances of font and color are somewhat lost
on me. I downloaded the latest and it works fine for me.
I explicitly look at the Petname toolbar in the relatively
rare case that I'm using an https site that I care about
(usually financial transactions). I've trained my wife to
do so also, so issues of peripheral vision or ignoring text,
etc. I think aren't particularly relevant for our use.
