Yup, compatibility has been the subject of lots of discussion here
recently. The NaCl site has mention of trying to get interpreters
working with it---if/when that happens matters could improve.
I don't think compatibility was ever going to be much of a focus with
it; I think it's more about bringing ocap security to the world of
web-browser plugins. In that respect it'll be interesting to see how it
works out.
Back onto more normal cap-talk subjects; how would this interact with
things like Caja, could this be an easier way of running confined native
code in an OS that doesn't natively support confinement?
