[cap-talk] Choice of version control: s/svn/git/ (was Re: Polaris distribution is ready)

Since Polaris is open source, anyone is free to set it up anywhere.  However, HP and Google are frenemies, so it seems odd to put an HP project on a Google site.  That being said, it's more important that it be easy for people to work on the code.  Raoul has put Polaris on GitHub.  If people feel strongly that the Google site is better, so be it.  MarcS and I have decided that the official version is the one I will link to from my web site.

Let's have a vote.  Anybody know of a good online voting site?  Should we vote on which one we use?  (Hmmm.  This is getting a bit recursive for my taste.)
