<bigger>Having now interfaced to a couple of java  classes from E, I can
say that the section of the book about the  "import:" uri should be a
little longer, or should forward reference  another section on
interfacing to Java. As an example of the confusion now  possible, let me
ask this question to which I don't know the answer: is  "maker" a special
keyword for getting at the class statics so I can  invoke new()?</bigger>
