I am incrementally converting mailing lists over to majordomo, mostly
because naive users seem incapable of reading directions on my other
lists.  More pragmatically, the majordomo tool allows users to add and
remove themselves from the list at addresses other than the one that
they mail from, which may be important to some of you.

Bill Frantz was kind enough to send me his archive of early E list
messages, and I have stashed that in the archive subdirectory.

As previously, messages for the e-lang list should be sent to

   e-lang@eros.cis.upenn.edu
