Just so you know, I have discovered my compilation problem. IBM Vis-Age =
won't let me import classes that become a part of the base 1.1.6 =
packages, to ensure its environment doesn't get corrupted. Argh. =
However, there is a feature for including into your environment's =
classpath jars that are not part of the environment. So I seem to be at =
least minimally operational.
