I've just read your mail and it beats me what is going on.

A few comments.  This error has not to my memory been reported
except in the context of E.

The 'cryptix folks' haven't actually changed anything recently,
and without version numbers, platforms, jdks and the normal
information that one would supply in a problem report, there is
little chance of you ever getting any help.

Also, there is a FAQ with the Cryptix downloads, which stresses
that Cryptix is a self-help project.  This help is found on the
cryptix-java mailing list...  Are you subscribed?

Be aware that all Cryptix people have a day job, and they sometimes
can't get around to fix problems immediately.
