BUG: Unsettled Cycle Prining (was: Announcing E 0.8.4: The Birthday Release)

Is it absolutely necessary to go through "yet another open source 
discussion" on this list?  I do not think there is anyone here who has not 
heard all of this before, and if they are not convinced now then they won't 
be by yet another rehash of the same points.  Those who have the power to 
change the circumstances in this case are not subscribed to this list, so 
can we please try to keep things on topic?  (No, just because E is open 
source does not make this discussion pertinent to the E-lang mailing list.)
