It looks like very impressive work.  Any idea what their license 
http://www.research.att.com/sw/tools/xmill/LICENSE.txt means?  Is it a 
Mozilla compatible open source license?  After too much legalese, my eyes 
glaze over.

Regardless, this technology certainly makes your point.  Whether I can 
actually use xmill in E or not, once I have a JOSS <-> Minimal-XML 
converter, I can see how well they each compress, just to find out.
