Jonathan, has your investigation of C# gone far enough so you can tell
whether E can run on it? I.e., have you run into any amazing
holes such that even E, when run on top of it, could not supply confinement?
Is the API to the platform so bit-and-byte oriented that it would be a much
bigger job to wrap it with a CapWT than is the comparable job for the jvm?

Since I fantasize about letting someone pay to port E to C#'s vm some day,
this would be interesting to know.
