The new when-catch-finally construct (the impure mixed control flow expansion explained in my previous email) is now implemented, and so is expected to be in 0.8.10. Much thanks especially to Mark Seaborn & Alan Karp! "Ref whenResolved(..)" and "Ref whenBroken(..)" are likewise improved.
