When you're confused about something I said, the last thing you should be is 
silent.  Please at least send me private email.  I won't necessarily have an 
answer, but at least I'll understand that there's a problem.

Regarding this issue, I hadn't noticed this chain of reasoning.  And I don't 
currently have a good answer.  But now I know that I'm confused, which 
is better.

(I hate it when I'm confused and don't know it.  Or would hate it if I knew 
I were in that state. But if I knew it, then I wouldn't be in that state.  
Hmm, I think I'm confused...)
