Completely. I have a friend on Apple's Java team.

Absolutely.

So far it works flawlessly, but then, I never had any particular difficulty
with Apple's Java 1.1 implementation, either.

I run Resin (2.0 or later) all the time.

Switch away. The Java 1.3 is very nice, IE5 seems pretty good, OmniWeb is
pretty good, iCab is pretty good... heck, even the current Mozilla is pretty
good.
