While I would like to take credit for having the wisdom to avoid engaging
this thread for these reasons, the truth is that I've just been too busy
coding on the next release, so I figured I'd get to these issues later.
Hmm, well, I suppose that's sorta the point, so maybe I will take credit. ;)
In any case, that's no reason for the rest of you to postpone arguing these
matters out. To the degree you can settle these in my absence, I'll have
that much more to go on when it is time for me to pay attention to these
matters. Don't let the discussion of impatience time out on my
unresponsiveness. I'm Sturdy but slow, and we've already paid the costs for
a perpetually persistent message buffer -- the email archive. (Thereby
demonstrating that I do read the messages, even when I don't take the time
to participate.)
Cheers,
