MarcS asked if I had read E in a Walnut. I'm sorry, I had not read it
at the time I was trying to make this work.

Actually in my version of E 0.8.9 running on Linux I get:

? help( integer maker )
# value: "an org.erights.e.elib.prim.EStaticWrapper\n\
# \tONE/0\n\
# \tZERO/0\n\
# \tasType/0\n\
# \tnew/1\n\
# \tnew/2\n\
# \tnew/3\n\
# \torder/3\n\
# \tprintOn/1\n\
# \tprotocol/0\n\
# \trespondsTo/2\n\
# \ttoString/0\n\
# \tvalueOf/1\n\
# \twhenBroken/1\n\
# \twhenResolved/1\n\
# \tyourself/0\n\
# "

Something is not parsing the \t and \n properly.

Java info:

$ java -version
java version "1.2.2"
Classic VM (build Linux_JDK_1.2.2_FCS, native threads, sunwjit)

Hal
