I'll be glad to take on VatTP. Unless we end up unbundling it from E, I
think discussing it in the E context makes the most sense, so let's keep
the vattp.net address in reserve.
BTW - The last I looked, 0.8.9 still supported the VLS in the client look
up code. (I don't know about registration.) If the VLS interface changes,
the client support will (obviously) also have to change.
