[E-Lang] Other languages with secure capabilities

Yesterday I met with 2 people who are making Oz/Mozart
(http://www.mozart-oz.org/ ) secure and seem to be taking a very similar
approach to E (they seemed to be well-read on E). Besides the same goals as
E they had an additional one that made sense to me - provide a special case
optimization when all the nodes involved are trusted but the network isn't -
e.g. all the nodes are controlled by the same corporation. They also
mentioned Safe Erlang
(http://www.adfa.edu.au/~lpb/research/sserl/icics99.html ) which I believe
has a more complex approach to implementing secure capabilities than E or
Oz.

I just think all these groups should be interacting more than they appear to
be doing.

Best,
