Oh yeah -- I forgot to mention e-mail updates!

E-mail notification of CVS commits are absolutely indispensible for community
involvement IMO. I was unconsciously including e-mail updates as a standard
part of CVS in my previous message.

SourceForge can provide the e-mail updates mailed to a mailing list of your
choice (probably you want a separate e-lang-commits list instead of sending it
straight to the e-lang devel list).

Also SourceForge can run the mailing list manager for you if you want. It is
GNU mailman, and the maintainers of GNU mailman maintain it on sourceforge, so
it is well supported.
