Evidently so.  Hadn't really thought about it.  I guess I'm provoked
that they had a golden opportunity to get it right and actually went
out of their way not to.  But you're absolutely right that it's
unpolitic to let this sentiment leak out.

My purpose in much of the FAQ was to provoke better answers, so in
this case I succeeded.

Thanks for your and Jonathan's suggestions.  I'll work on it.
