One can use rsync to do it, or cvsup (which is written in Modula-3, so
it's a bit of a 'mare to install) (hmmm ... I think cvsup does it,
anyway). rsync is trivial, though.

I'd be happy to mirror CVS for you (and any other capability project) -
if I do it to my machine here, it'll even get backed up to tape
daily(ish).
