Ken Kahn just asked to see and be included in the everything is an object 
discussion.  I'm forwarding him the discussion to date.  Everyone, please 
include him on all further messages in this thread.

He also suggests that various other people on the list (he mentions Peter 
Van Roy of Mozart) would be interested.  I agree.  If everyone who's 
contributed to the discussion so far gives me their permission, I would 
like to post the whole discussion to the list and continue there.  Any 
objections?
