Be aware that GFDL has real problems, e.g. being incompatible even
with the other GNU licenses.  I don't know much about the Creative
Commons licenses.  Here is something that came out of Debian regarding
GFDL:

Of all the complaints on the above page, the DRM one seemed most
clearly a bad idea to me.  If the analysis is correct, you cannot
encrypt an email message that happens to have some GFDL material
quoted on it!


I always wonder when license discussions come up, why not put
something like, "This content is hereby in the public domain.  It may
be reused for any purpose."  If you want to give it away, then give it
away.
