As far as I know, there is no Leopard-specific configuration  
required. I just tried installing E on a system running Leopard and  
it worked fine.

You can download E and use the standard manual install procedure, or  
you could use my download-and-install script (attached below) like  
this (run it in the directory you would like "e" and "etrace"  
directories created in):

  $ sh get-e.sh 0-9-1 0.9.1b
  ...
  $ e/rune
  ?

After this installation, you can create a symlink from some directory  
on your $PATH to e/rune.

(Making the installer built into E work on Mac OS X and other Unixoid  
platforms is on my todo list.)
