If I remember correctly, Python had a "Restricted Execution Environment".  I
think the its lying around in the library reference somewhere.  But they had
to scrap the whole library, because it had some serious security flaws. (At
least I think that was the reason.)  Perhaps, pitching CapPython as a way to
finally implement dynamic applets in an a much more user-friendly way than
Java can be a good way to make your case.
