After a bit of Googling, I could neither find any simple explanations of the
.msi format nor any attractive open source programs for generating these,
except for <http://msi2xml.sourceforge.net/>. Do you have any simpler
solution in mind?

Gotcha. I will continue posting the E distributions at erights.org/download,
but I'll update pages at wiki.erights.org, rather than erights.org/download,
to point at these.

If some way could be found for me not to be a bottleneck on future releases,
that would be even better.
