[e-lang] Problems 0install-int E on Mac

Since
* 0install already provides cross-platform install including Windows,
* E itself does not install cleanly on Windows 7 (apparently due to
changes in
the registry permissions system between XP and 7),
* I have little desire to spend time learning about Windows 7,
* 0install and E have already been made to play together well,
I thought I'd install 0install on Windows 7 and then follow the instructions
at <http://wiki.erights.org/wiki/Downloads> to see if that works as a way to
install E on Windows.
I never did see 0alias or 0install show up on my path, either in the cygwin
shell or in the Windows command shell. Clicking on the "Zero Install" icon
and then the "Launch interface" button brings us to the attached screenshot.
Going instead into the directory in which 0install is installed, I still see
no 0alias, but I do see a 0install.exe. Using it from the cygwin command
results in the following. These problems seem similar to those on the Mac.
Note that I do already happen to have a JDK 6 installed on my Windows 7 box,
though not through 0install.
$ ./0launch http://repo.roscidus.com/e/e-core
