[eros-announce] EROS project has moved - ACTION REQUIRED

As announced here in January, I am taking over the development of the 
EROS code. At the request of Jonathan, the project has a new name: 
CapROS ("Capability-based Reliable Operating System"). I have set up 
the project on SourceForge. The project summary page is 
http://sourceforge.net/projects/capros/.

ACTION REQUIRED: In order to stay informed about CapROS, you must 
subscribe to the new CapROS mailing list, 
capros-devel at lists.sourceforge.net. Please go to 
http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/capros-devel and follow 
the instructions for subscribing.

(I did not subscribe everyone on eros-arch, because I did not presume 
that everyone would be interested, and because SourceForge 
discourages mass signups.)

The code and documentation have been copied to SourceForge. Some 
things in eros-os were omitted. For example, CapROS has only one 
version of the Gnu compiler and C library. Jonathan's dissertation is 
omitted because the copyright does not permit me to publish it, and 
there is no need to duplicate it.

The web site is under construction. It is at 
http://capros.sourceforge.net/ . Soon http://www.capros.org/ will 
also refer to that web site.
