Actually, I don't think the "memory" in "memory object" necessarily means "mapped memory" - "memory" is really just a generic term for storage. Well, last night I concluded that data object was worse. With apologies to the KeyKOS crowd I think I'm going to adopt the tradional term, which is "segment." Jonathan
