Hi,
I've managed to find out what is causing the make process to stop when in
Mandrake 6.1.
Somehow, make is calling ar in a directory location that is not yet created.
Some of you may have encountered this or haven't yet, but, I think this will
happen if someone goes into the xenv and call make all then he will probably
encounter it.
One of the things that I did was to create manually the directory
/eros/xenv/i386-unknown-linux/bin and copy ar into it. I copied ar from
/usr/bin.
After this process, the /xenv/xenv is created and populated accordingly.
Now, I am currently working on the other directories and still in the
process of identifying the cause why it is stopping.
Thanks,
Ben.
