Perhaps holes are dispensible (but see
<http://www.mediacity.com/~norm/CapTheory/Retrieve.html>); I think,
however, that real durable objects must suffer a variety of vulnerabilities
in practical situations. I really want to know if I can live with out some
six year old 15 megabyte library, or must I continue to pay for this
proprietary Runge-Kutta service.
Kernel mods do not seem necessary for manifestly durable segments. This is the obvious analogy for sensory key providing manifestly discreet segments. Only a more complete design will settle these questions.
