Just so you know, I did upgrade my error message, markm, and now after = making some changes (described below) with new error messages for = cyptix, the output when I get clobbered is:
me says: clobbered: <Ref broken by java.io.IOException: lost connection = org.erights.e.net.data.DataConnection@1cb5ea to 169.254.70.21:1062|0CSORT3Y43VypimonVM32gQswvDL searchpath=3D169.254.70.21:1062;207.173.250.112:1062 state=3D7>
The change I made was to read the installation guide for cryptix, which = as nearly as I can tell only requires modifying the java.security text = file to append the line
security.provider.2=3Dcryptix.provider.Cryptix
to the original. Appending like this does cause one other change: = instead of a warning when I try to start up the connection about the = IJCE properties file, during the startup of the jvm I get a similar = warning that i can't find the Cryptix properties file:
trace: Logging begins on standard output. Warning: failed to load the Cryptix properties file. Make sure that the CLASSPATH entry for Cryptix is an absolute path.
When I have a chance, I will go back to re-read the installation = instructions, but that is my status at the moment; now I have to go do = other things that are not e-related :-)
