I just heard from them (thanks John!). Instant Installer is now available at http://gate02.halcyonsoft.com/opensource/installer/ . I would especially like an opinion on the license
http://gate02.halcyonsoft.com/opensource/installer/lisc.html .

John, the discussion you've just been cc'ed on is about the E language, whose home is http://www.erights.org . E is open source and written in Java. It needs a platform portable open source installer, both for it, and for applications written in it. You can browse the discussion so far at http://www.eros-os.org/~majordomo/e-lang/index.html . See especially the thread "E 0.8.7 & NT". We'd like to understand how Instant Installer might help us out. Thanks.

         Cheers,
